CoachTape Privacy Policy

Who we are
CoachTape is operated by Impact Atletica AB, organisation number 559571-1754, Fyrskeppsvägen 136, 121 54 Johanneshov, Sweden. Privacy contact: leo@impactatletica.com.
Our roles
CoachTape acts as controller for account administration, customer relationships, security, legal complaints, support and essential service communications.
For personal data in footage or other Content uploaded by a Club, the Club normally decides why and how the data is used and acts as controller. Impact Atletica AB processes that data on the Club's behalf as processor. The CoachTape DPA applies to that activity.
Information processed
CoachTape may process account details such as name, email, organisation and role; authentication, access and security information; usage and diagnostic events; support communications; legal complaints; and uploaded Content.
Uploaded Content may contain images, voices, names, shirt numbers, sporting actions, annotations and other information concerning players, coaches, officials or spectators, including children. Users should not include unnecessary health, disciplinary or other sensitive information in annotations.
Purposes and legal bases
We process account and usage information to perform our contract, provide the Service, administer Club access and respond to support requests. We process security information based on our legitimate interest in protecting CoachTape, Users and Content. We process billing and legally required records to comply with law. We process complaint information to comply with legal obligations, protect third-party rights and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
For Club-uploaded Content, CoachTape processes the information only on the Club's documented instructions to host, store, encode, display, annotate, organise, export, share, secure, support and delete it.
Video rights and responsibility
The uploading Club or User is responsible for having the copyright, broadcast rights, permissions, privacy notices, lawful basis and other authority needed to record, upload, analyse and share footage. CoachTape does not generally verify ownership before upload.
Providers and international transfers
CoachTape uses Lovable for application infrastructure, database, authentication and primary storage. The backend is configured in Lovable's Europe region. The exact hosting country, backup locations and any remote access from outside the EEA are being confirmed.
When a User requests an exported video with annotations, CoachTape uses Shotstack Pty Ltd. Depending on the requested export, Shotstack may receive the complete source video or only a selected clip. Shotstack is established in Australia and uses AWS infrastructure. Its DPA incorporates EU Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers requiring safeguards. Shotstack states that generated outputs are normally retained for 24 hours unless longer storage is enabled.
The current list is available at /subprocessors. CoachTape does not currently use Stripe to process customer payments.
Artificial intelligence
Impact Atletica AB does not sell uploaded Content or use it for advertising or to train general-purpose or third-party AI models. According to Lovable's published Privacy Policy, data submitted by end users to applications, including records in an application's database and storage, is not used by Lovable for model training. Shotstack's permitted processing and product-development language is being clarified; until written confirmation is obtained, CoachTape will minimise the footage sent to Shotstack and use it only for User-requested exports.
Retention
Account information is retained while the account is active and for as long afterward as needed for legal, security and accounting purposes. After termination, Customers will normally have 30 days to request or complete export of Content before deletion from active CoachTape systems. Deleted information may remain temporarily in routine backups until overwritten. Exact backup and technical-log periods are being confirmed and will be published when verified.
Shotstack states that generated outputs are normally retained for 24 hours unless longer-term storage is enabled. CoachTape will not intentionally enable longer Shotstack storage unless required for a requested function and properly disclosed.
Security and sharing
CoachTape uses reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including access controls and encrypted connections. Content is private by default. Users choose recipients and are responsible for ensuring they are authorised. A recipient may still copy or screen-record displayed Content, so sensitive footage should be shared cautiously.
Children
CoachTape accounts are intended for authorised adults. The Service may process Club-uploaded sports footage involving children. The Club is responsible for the necessary lawful basis, notices, permissions, policies and access restrictions. Contact CoachTape if you believe children's data has been processed improperly.
Your rights
Subject to GDPR conditions, individuals may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, object to processing and withdraw consent. For footage controlled by a Club, contact the Club first where possible. CoachTape will assist the Club. Requests may be sent to leo@impactatletica.com.
Individuals may complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, IMY: https://www.imy.se/en/individuals/forms-and-e-services/file-a-gdpr-complaint/.
Cookies
CoachTape may use strictly necessary cookies for login, security and essential functionality. CoachTape does not currently intentionally use advertising cookies. Any non-essential analytics or marketing cookies must be blocked until the User has made the choice required by applicable law.
